THE FULL ROSTER

All 15 grimoires in the four official tiers

The complete list exactly as the official description groups it: Start, Grow, Lucky and Few. Every book below comes from the same grimoire spin — the tiers describe how common a book is, not how strong it is.

HOW PROGRESSION WORKS

Spin, level, awaken: the three-stage loop

Every grimoire in Clover Legends follows the same three stages, straight from the official description — one spin, a book that levels as you fight, and awakening on top.

01

Spin — one roll sets your book and all ability slots

Your grimoire comes from the grimoire spin, and a single roll sets both your book and every one of its ability slots at once — there is no separate spell shopping on top. The spin interface itself shows the odds for each book plus a pity counter, so long dry streaks are visible in the UI.

Community wikis place the spin at the Grimoire Tower in Hage Village — that location is community-documented, not part of the official description.

02

Level — the book grows as you fight

Your grimoire gains book level from playing, not from spinning again. New spells unlock at book Lv 10 and again at book Lv 20 — all from the same book. No second spin is ever needed to complete your kit.

03

Awaken — Spell Pages, sharper hits, your ultimate

Awakening is the late-stage layer on top of leveling. It consumes gathered materials plus Spell Pages hunted from bosses, and every awakening sharpens your damage and critical hits. The fifth awakening unlocks your ultimate — the payoff for the whole grind.

One media write-up (Sep 2026) adds that awakening starts at Grade 0 with a Z-slot skill — a single source, so treat it as unconfirmed until official wording confirms it.

SOURCE CALIBRATION

Why this page counts 15 grimoires, not “60+”

Some community wikis describe Clover Legends as having “60+ grimoires across 6 rarity tiers.” That conflicts with the official game description, which lists exactly 15 grimoires in four tier groups. This page follows the official count — and when the official wording changes, this page changes with it.

PLAYER QUESTIONS

Grimoire questions players actually ask

Real searches from real players, answered with official tier placement and mechanics — strength rankings stay on the tier list.

Is Dark good in Clover Legends?+

Dark is one of the two Lucky-tier grimoires in the official description — rarer to spin than the Start and Grow pools, which is exactly why players chase it. How it ranks against the other 14 books is a community judgment, not an official one, so those calls live on our Grimoire Tier List rather than here.

Tell me about Mercury.+

Mercury is one of the six Grow-tier books and one of the three the official description calls out as newly added, alongside Star and Time. Like every grimoire, it comes from the same spin, levels as you fight, unlocks new spells at book Lv 10 and 20, and awakens with materials and Spell Pages. Per-book spell lists have not been published officially, so anything more specific stays off this page.

I have World Tree — what magic should I learn?+

World Tree is one of the two Lucky-tier books, so you already landed one of the harder pulls. You do not need to chase a second magic, though: your book levels as you fight, spells unlock at book Lv 10 and 20, and awakening is where the extra power comes from. Build the book you have instead of re-rolling your kit.

How do I use Lightning?+

Lightning sits in the Grow tier, the six-book mid pool. The official game publishes no per-book move list, so there is no official combo guide to quote: the spin fills your ability slots, and community reports describe the usual M1 / Z / X / C slots. Your in-game spell bar is the source of truth, and any specific rotation advice online is player-reported, not official.

Strength rankings, per-book comparisons and awakening builds are community territory — they live on the Grimoire Tier List.

VERSION & EVIDENCE

What this page is based on

  • Roster and tier groups: the official Roblox game description, updated 2026-09-30 and verified here on 2026-10-03. Mercury, Star and Time are flagged as new by the official wording.

  • Mechanics from the official description: the spin sets your grimoire and all ability slots; book level rises as you fight, with new spells at book Lv 10 and 20 and no second spin needed; awakening consumes gathered materials plus Spell Pages from bosses and unlocks your ultimate on the fifth awakening.

  • Max book level 9000 reflects the current build as of Oct 2026. The Grimoire Tower in Hage Village as the spin location is community-documented (two community sources), not official.

  • Awakening starting at Grade 0 with a Z-slot skill comes from a single media source (Sep 2026) — unconfirmed until a second source appears. Per-book spell lists are not officially published and are never invented on this site.

  • A “160 Gems per spin” cost circulates from a single community snippet — unconfirmed, so it is not used anywhere on this page. Community claims of “60+ grimoires in 6 rarity tiers” are addressed in the calibration note above.
